One Up is my 2010 project of writing, recording and releasing one song per month for the whole year. Each song will have a purpose, a story, and a reason for you to listen. I want you, the listener, to get exactly what you want and need out of each song. Do you want to help make this happen? Yes, I knew it! (high five.) I'm funding the project through fan donations and corporate sponsorships and will ultimately have each song attached to a charity, so the profits from the song's downloads benefit that charity. I'm implementing a new method of releasing music that incorporates a cycle of giving, both musically and fiscally.
So hop on the bandwagon! The name of the game is sponsorship ($5 to infinity dollars) in exchange for awesome things like brownies, t-shirts or singing backup vocals. You can even gather your friends up and sponsor a whole song to get a custom tune for your bff's birthday. You get the point, so read on, click on (the big red button). Over and up.

Your song sponsorship money will go towards:
- recording studio time at Abbey Road. KIDding. The Cutting Room in NYC. Equally cool minus the Beatles.
- musicians, like, my 60-piece dream orchestra. C'mon, a girl can dream.
- marketing and PR- getting the word out.
- my lifetime Skittles supply. Again, kidding.
If you are interested in getting involved with the 2011 tour, you can sponsor a portion of the tour! Your tour sponsorship money will go towards:
- travel costs (vans, flights, motels)
- the talented and professional musicians in my band who join me because they love me (awee), but also because it's their career.
- booking, marketing and PR team- getting the word out.
